MDriven Academy

Build software from models, not from boilerplate.

Three certification tracks that take you from first principles to a production MDriven system. Every lesson is taught in full right here, every answer is graded on the server, and finishing a track earns a credential anyone can verify.

Why model-driven

Most systems get rewritten for the wrong reason

Not because the business changed β€” because the technology underneath it did. A move from ASP.NET to Angular, or SQL Server to PostgreSQL, and suddenly business logic that was perfectly correct has to be rewritten and re-tested. Model-driven development separates the two, so the rules outlive the stack they happen to run on.

Keep the gist, change the modernity

Your entities, rules and relationships are the gist. The framework, database and front end are modernity. Model the first and regenerate the second, and a stack migration stops being a rewrite.

A working application in minutes

Draw a class diagram, generate AutoForms, hit play. You get a running web application with a real database behind it before you have written a line of code β€” and every later change to the model refreshes it live.

Rules a domain expert can check

Business logic lives in OCL constraints on the model, not buried in a service class. A well-written constraint reads back as the sentence the domain expert said in the workshop, which means it can actually be verified by the person who owns it.

No coding background required

The foundation track starts at how a computer works and builds to UML, databases and your first executable model. Analysts and domain experts finish it and ship real systems.

Assessments that mean something

Correct answers never reach the browser. Grading happens on the server, questions and options are shuffled per attempt, and rapid retries are rate-limited β€” so a pass is evidence rather than persistence.

Credentials that check out

Each track issues a signed PDF with a unique ID and QR code, backed by a public page at /verify that anyone β€” a client, an employer β€” can check without an account.

The three tracks

Start where you are

Each track stands on its own and leads to its own credential. Take them in order, or jump straight to the one that matches what you already know.

How it works
  1. Read the lesson

Written into the platform in full β€” prose, diagrams, code and worked examples on one page. Nothing sends you off to a wiki to lose your place.

  2. Take the assessment

Five questions at the foot of the lesson, graded on the server. Get it wrong and the explanations open up so you learn from the attempt.

  3. Unlock the next one

Assessments open in sequence. Reading ahead is always allowed β€” only the assessment waits for the lesson before it.

  4. Earn the credential

Pass every lesson and claim a signed, verifiable PDF. Your transcript, badges and place on the leaderboard come with it.

Along the way

The platform keeps track of the parts that are easy to lose.

  • Bookmarks and private notes on any lesson, never shown to anyone else.
  • Badges for milestones β€” first lesson, a flawless course, a one-take run.
  • A transcript PDF of every score and date, separate from your credentials.
  • A leaderboard, public and opt-out-able, if that is what motivates you.
  • Printable lessons for reading away from a screen.

Tiki will show you around
